• Squeezed into the back seat of your parent's car with your brother, Nana and Granddad may not seem like everyone's idea of fun, but for me it was my end of summer highlight! Cruising slowly up from Squires Gate to North Pier and beyond we would gaze and gasp in wonder and astonishment at the scene. This was of course my family's Annual Pilgrimage to Blackpool's Illuminations, and Northern Lights is my souvenir of those magical nights - and long Summer Holidays!
• This table lamp, with its Perspex shade and aluminium legs, is bound together with multicoloured wires - images appear and disappear as the light flashes on and off.
