- Giant fabric waves, swathed the ceilings throughout
the galleries of The Waterside Arts Centre, Sale, celebrating
200 years since The Abolition of Slavery Law.
- This installation explored the long, lonely, tortuous sea
journeys endured by enslaved West African adults and children
throughout the 14th - 18th centuries; forcibly separated from
families and friends they were taken to work as slaves on
Caribbean / American sugar and tea plantations; the resulting
legacy in Northwest England.
- A commissioned installation of hand printed / embroidered
/ manipulated fabrics.
